While not technically sticky date pudding, this offering from Nomad in the East Village was certainly full of dates. However, the consistency was more like pureed dates than a pudding, and it was served cold. Nicole and I shared it, and from memory the sauce was similar to butterscotch.

Yet another SDP I don't quite remember. I wonder how many other non-documented desserts I've forgotten?
Although, in digging my memory, I do remember it to have a very solid consistency - like a pudding or a jello. It was yummy, but didn't blow me away.
Oh NYC, when will you produce a date-like dessert that recreates that first Sticky Date experience? Is it possible to recreate, or will nothing live up to that first pudding I fell in love with?
